RAPIDFORCE, creator of the world’s first and only pre-cut physio hybrid shapes, has announced the addition of two key members to the RAPIDFORCE Elite Team of brand ambassadors in February. 4-Time FIVB World Tour Champion and 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Phil Dalhausser and 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist April Ross have signed on as RAPIDFORCE brand ambassadors. These elite athletes join tennis star John Isner as the first official RAPIDFORCE Elite Team members in professional sports.

Phil Dalhausser and his partner Sean Rosenthal were recently named the 2014 Volleyball Team of the Year by USA Volleyball after a stellar season on the sand. Dalhausser helped the duo bring home 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze on the FIVB World Tour finishing the year ranked 2nd in the world overall. “We’re always working out and we play tournaments almost year-round,” said Dalhausser. “From practice to the big stage, the RAPIDFORCE physio hybrid shapes stay in place and give me the comfort of knowing I have extra support where I need it most.” Dalhausser and Rosenthal are currently the top ranked men’s beach volleyball team in the United States.

World Champion April Ross and partner Jennifer Kessy helped the U.S. finish 1-2 atop the podium at the 2012 Summer Olympics following an epic battle with U.S. teammates Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh-Jennings in the final match. In 2014, Ross joined forces with Walsh-Jennings to create another powerhouse duo with a real opportunity to bring home Gold at next year’s Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It also marked the third FIVB victory this year for the newly formed duo.

Dalhausser, alongside beach volleyball partner, Todd Rogers, together became the first U.S. beach team to win the gold medal at the 2007 FIVB World Championships in Switzerland. This tournament set Dalhausser and his partner up for the gold at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games where he ousted Brazil’s team for the top spot. Dalhausser ended up walking away with nine blocks, the tournament’s MVP title and a newly acquired nickname – “The Beijing Beast.”

The Swiss-born Dalhausser didn’t grab the reins of volleyball until his senior year of high school. Dalhausser and partner Todd Rogers, the 2008 Olympic gold medalists, finished 2011 as the top-ranked players in the USAV Beach Player Rankings. The pair finished second in the FIVB Swatch World Tour rankings and are the top-ranked team overall in the FIVB Olympic Qualification Rankings, which will determine which two men’s teams the U.S. will send to the 2012 Summer Games in London.

Dalhausser and Rogers finished the season with medals in nine out of 12 FIVB events, including four gold medals. Dalhausser was named the Most Outstanding Player of all four tournaments that the U.S. team won. In its postseason awards, the FIVB named Dalhausser its Best Setter for the third straight year.

In winning their first two tournaments of the 2011 season, Dalhausser and Rogers established a new FIVB record for consecutive match wins (40 straight until the gold medal match in Prague on May 22).
